Common-Sense Leadership &
Prosperous Future.
Meet Jane McCormick
Community Roots

Raising four children in the Madison area, I’ve seen firsthand how the choices made in state government directly impact our kitchen tables, our neighborhood schools, and our local businesses. Today, our community is being squeezed by skyrocketing property taxes, out-of-control healthcare costs, and growing safety concerns in our iconic downtown spaces.

As a local real estate broker and business owner, I see the real-world impact of these pressures on local families every single day. We don't need more partisan fighting in the State Assembly—we need leaders who are focused on listening, balancing budgets, and delivering results.

Professional Journey
My career has been defined by taking big challenges and finding practical ways to solve them on budget and on time:
-
Corporate Leadership: Recognizing the growth in our region, I spent years with Plunkett Raysich Architects, where I successfully launched and helped manage their flagship Madison office.
-
Strategic Growth: I later expanded my business background into the engineering sector, leading regional business development for a national engineering consulting firm, Affiliated Engineers.
-
Local Entrepreneurship & Real Estate: In 2015, I launched my own independent practice, Shore Bluff Realty. Today, as a licensed real estate broker and active business owner, I have successfully blended my real estate practice with my commercial design work, giving me a unique, 360-degree view of our local economy, housing market, and property tax challenges.

A Leadership Style Based on Action

Whether closing a real estate transaction, running a local business, or managing a major commercial project, effective leadership requires a commitment to three core principles:
-
Listening First – Putting the immediate needs of our neighborhood families ahead of political ideologies.
-
Fiscal Stewardship – Treating taxpayer dollars with absolute respect and cutting administrative waste.
-
Accountability & Execution – Creating clear, common-sense solutions that actually work for everyday people.

My Vision for the 77th District

I am running for the Wisconsin State Assembly to bring this exact results-driven focus to state government. From overhauling our state education funding model to achieve lower property taxes, to protecting the safety and privacy of women under Title IX, to completing infrastructure priorities like the Lake Mendota trail—I am ready to work for a better Madison.
